Mount Baker Engagement Session // Washington

March 3, 2022

For this Mount Baker Engagement session, we drove up to Bagley Lake Loop and spent some time walking around together. I love that they were up for doing a session with the snow! It was definitely cold but so worth it to see the landscape looking like a winter wonderland. These two really stuck it out through the freezing weather as it started to snow a little bit while we were there. I love that they embraced wearing their beanies and winter jackets for a much cozier feel. It’s always important to consider whether your attire makes sense for the weather and location when planning your engagement session!

Winter engagement sessions are a great shift from the norm and I am always down to frolic in some snow together! One of the positives of getting a winter engagement session is that my schedule tends to be a bit more lax, so photo turnaround times are much shorter than during the summer season!

I would really love to do more Mount Baker engagement sessions! I know it’s a long drive up there from Seattle but the locations are well worth the trip. Another popular spot up this way is Artist’s Point. I haven’t had a chance to shoot there yet so if you’re thinking about getting photos up there please reach out to me!
