Parson’s Garden is such a hidden gem in Seattle and it’s perfect for elopements! This Parson’s Garden elopement was no exception. We started the day with a private first look in the trees! This park has such a romantic hidden garden feel. Right by the garden, there is an overlook of Puget Sound and some very pretty stairs that are certainly worth visiting! We were able to get portraits there and in the garden before starting their ceremony.
Their ceremony was on the stone platform under the trees. In my opinion, this is the best spot in the garden to hold your ceremony! You’ll have to let me know what you think. After their ceremony and family portraits, we headed over to Staple & Fancy, an AMAZING Italian restaurant in the heart of Ballard. This is where the couple held their reception dinner and it truly could not have been more romantic. It was the perfect venue for their small guest list! I have since suggested this spot to so many friends! My in-laws (who are Italian) came to visit and I had to send them there, they loved it!
Planning your Seattle elopement somewhere like Parson’s Garden and then ending at a nice restaurant is the perfect plan for a guest list of around 10-20 people. If you are thinking of planning something like this, make sure to reach out to Seattle Parks for your permit! All of the parks in Seattle will require a permit for an elopement ceremony. After you have your permit reach out to me to plan your elopement coverage!
What a gorgeous Seattle elopement. I’d never even heard of Parson’s Garden but it’s beautiful!!
